Vivace Theatre Summer School
This summer we want to help create some very special memories. We are delighted to be offering not 1 but 2 exciting musical theatre camps. Inspired by two uplifting musicals, both highlighting bold ambition and the importance of chasing dreams without compromising who you are. We have an inspiring and entertaining summer ahead!
For experienced performers, there will be plenty of challenges and for those new to the stage, lots and lots of wonderful opportunities to learn about performing. So prepare to act, sing, dance, meet new friends and put on a magical show in just 5 days!

This feel-good show explores ambition, choices and the value of staying true to who you are. As heartwarming as it is hilarious, this cult-classic set to a Motown groove is packed with unforgettable songs, larger-than-life characters, and a dose of dark humour.

STRUCTURE
Rehearsals will take place in the VTS studios at 243 Sauchiehall St. You will have four classes each day – 2 acting classes, a singing class and a dance class. You will work on performance pieces from Monday through to Thursday. Friday morning is a technical rehearsal Friday afternoon is the performance.

WHEN?
Either 29th June – 3rd July or 6th July - 10th July or 13th July - 17th July for 'WHAT YOU WANT', a Summer Camp inspired by the fabulous musical Legally Blonde.

OR 20th July - 24th July or 27th July – 31st July for 'SUDDENLY SUMMER', a Summer Camp inspired by Little Shop of Horrors the Musical.
​
Classes begin at 10.00am and finish at 4.30pm. Students can be dropped off from 8.00am onwards and can be collected as late as 5.30pm in an effort to accommodate working parents.

COST
The course costs £145 (£50 of which is required as a deposit to secure your place. The balance is not required till the week before the course begins.)

There is no additional charge for early drop off or late pick up.
Early Booking before 1st of June 2026 receive an 'early bird' rate of just £109 which includes Vivace Summer School 2026 T-Shirt.
We love meeting new people who are interested in performance and so we'd like to offer you a FREE VIP CLASS PASS enabling you to join us as our guest one week on the VTS course of your choice!
This is the perfect opportunity to meet our team, check out our studio and generally get a feel for what being a student at VTS involves. There is no obligation to enrol whatsoever and our welcoming staff team will be on hand to support you throughout.
